Motion System & Animation Production for UI
This project started with a clear challenge: define a motion language that could live inside a digital product without feeling overdesigned or inconsistent. The client needed a system of small, simple animations the kind that show up in UI to support microinteractions, transitions, and moments of feedback and they needed it to feel intentional and repeatable.
We began by establishing a set of motion principles and design patterns that could scale. The focus was clarity, consistency, and building something flexible enough to be used across different teams and platforms. Once the system was defined, we moved into production applying the motion language to around 40 different animations to date, all designed for web-based UI components.

One of the most demanding and rewarding moments of the project came when the client asked us to create a batch of 11 new animations for a Super Bowl campaign. The deadline was tight, and the expectations were high. I built a small team of four designers and split the work to move quickly, while keeping all animation decisions aligned to the motion system we had developed. The biggest challenge was making sure everything felt cohesive, even though it was being produced simultaneously by different people. In the end, we delivered on time and with quality that matched the rest of the system which, to me, validated the strength of the foundation we had built early on.
My role throughout the project focused on leading the team, managing communication with the client, and making sure everything we delivered was up to standard. From initial tests to final exports, I kept the production process structured and focused, without losing sight of the small details that make motion feel right.
Tools used included Figma and Illustrator for asset prep, and After Effects for animation.
Can’t show the full project publicly, but feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more.
